Man Forged Ex's Signature to Hold Onto Child Support Money: Cops

A 54-year-old West Hartford man is accused of forging his ex-wife’s signature on child support checks he wrote her so he could deposit them back into his account, according to Glastonbury police.

Glastonbury police have charged Peter Turner, 54, of Kane Street in West Hartford, with second-degree forgery, third-degree identity theft and fifth-degree larceny.

He was arrested on Monday, according to police, and is due in court on Feb. 5.
