Officers are investigating after a man was found dead inside of a car in Bridgeport late Thursday night.
Police say shots were fired in the P.T. Barnum Housing Complex near buildings 13, 10 and three.
Officers found 34-year-old Tavon Cooper unresponsive in the driver's seat of a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo near the front of building three. They say he appeared to have been shot in the head.
Paramedics transported Copper to Bridgeport Hospital where he later died.
Police say Cooper's death is considered suspicious pending further investigation.
