A Connecticut jury has found a man guilty of killing an aspiring actress and musician he had once dated.

Pugh and Ducsay dated, but the relationship ended when Pugh, a convicted drug dealer, was jailed from 1998 until 2004.

In 2012. he was arrested in connection with the murder of Ducsay.  Police said after Pugh's arrest that he had been accused of threatening Ducsay for years after she ended their relationship.

The 42-year-old Pugh testified in his own defense and tried to discredit testimony by a relative who said Pugh was angry with Ducsay for leaving him and taking money and a car.
