A man who was injured when a group home van hit a septic truck on Waterbury Road in Bristol on Thursday morning has died, according to police.
On Thursday, police said a pregnant woman was driving a van from a group home when sun glare impeded her vision and she hit a parked septic truck on Waterbury Road at 8:26 a.m.
The woman, Scott Duell, and two other adults in the van were taken to Waterbury Hospital.
Duell, 68, of Bristol, died at 10:56 p.m. on Friday from injuries sustained in the crash, police said.
The Bristol Police Department Traffic Division is investigating the crash and ask anyone with information about it to call the Traffic Division at (860) 584-3030.
