Lynx Tribuce, 36, is accused of kicking his girlfriend's chihuahua and killing it. He is charged with animal cruelty.

Cromwell Police have charged a 36-year-old man with killing his girlfriend's dog.

According to police, Lynx Tribuce, of West Haven, kicked his girlfriend's chihuahua, killing it. Cromwell Animal Control officers were called to the girlfriend's home on Bayberry Court Aug. 31 to investigate the dog's death.

After months of investigating, police arrested Tribuce on Oct. 4. He is charged with cruelty to animals.

Tribuce was released on $20,000 bond and is due back in court Oct. 16.
