Man Killed When Car Pins Him to Garage

    A man was pinned to a garage and killed.

    A Meriden man was killed after being pinned between his car and a garage on Thursday night.

    Malachi Dicks, 23, was driving on Lewis Avenue and ran out of gas around 11:15 p.m., police said.

    As he was standing next to his car, it started rolling backward into a driveway and pinned him against the garage, police said.

    Dicks was killed instantly.

    The Meriden police accident reconstruction unit is investigating.
