Man Sentenced for Sex Trafficking of Teen Girl

A man has been sentenced to six years in prison for forcing a 17-year-old girl into prostitution at motels in southern Connecticut.

Brandon Williams, 37, pleaded guilty in March to sex trafficking of a minor.

Authorities said Williams bought the girl from another pimp for $500 and advertised her for sex on websites. A news released from the U.S. Department of Justice says the advertisements were on Backpage and Cityvibe.

Police said they found the girl with a tattoo of a dollar sign on her face and another of Williams' nickname, "14K," on her neck.

Officials say the prostitution occurred at motels in Bridgeport, Milford, Stratford and the Bronx in New York.

Williams' lawyer says in court documents that Williams is remorseful and wants to better himself.

The judge ordered Williams to pay $1,980 in restitution to the victim.
