Man Shot in Stomach in Hamden

Police say the victim is in stable condition at a local hospital.

Police say they believe a fatal car fire and a house explosion in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains are related.

A man was hospitalized after he was shot in the stomach at 42 Warner street in Hamden, according to officials.

Police said the incident occurred at 10:40 p.m., Friday.

The victim was taken to a an area hospital where he is in stable condition.

The suspect was seen running away toward Bowen Street.

Police are investigating.
