Man Stabbed Before Being Struck by Car on Christmas

A man was stabbed before he was struck by a car and died Friday.

A 23-year-old man was stabbed before he was struck by a car and died Christmas morning in Hartford, according to police.
The victim was suffering from a stab wound and was seen staggering at the intersection of Garden Street and Homestead Avenue just before 1 a.m.
Police say that the victim fell in the street where he was ran over by one or more cars before another car stopped on top of him.
Hartford Police and Fire responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead upon their arrival.
His body was removed by the medical examiner's office. An autopsy will be preformed later.
The case remains under investigation.
