Man Steals Drugs From Cromwell Pharmacy

Police are investigating the robbery of a Walgreen’s Pharmacy in Cromwell.

According to police, a suspect entered the pharmacy at 6 Hammerhead Place around 8 p.m. Friday. He climbed over the counter, told employees he had a weapon and stole an undetermined amount of prescription drugs. He fled carrying a white plastic bag, police said.

No one was injured during the incident, police said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a medium build, standing between 5’11” and 6’0” tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a gray-and-black hooded sweatshirt, light-colored baggy pants, a black baseball cap and white sneakers, according to police.
