Man Stole $57,000 in Heirloom Silver From Landlord: Cops

Glastonbury police have arrested a local man accused of stealing and pawning more than $57,000 worth of his landlord’s family heirlooms.

The owner of a home Gregory Riach, 23, of Glastonbury was renting contacted police in June to report that several pieces of silver were missing and police identified him as a suspect.

Riach was arrested just after 7 p.m. on Thursday and charged with first-degree larceny. Bond was set at $150,000.
