Guilford police are looking for the man stole two moneybags right out of the hands of a Walmart employee.
The robbery happened just after 9 a.m. on Sunday at the Walmart at 900 Boston Post Road.
Police said the man loaded a shopping cart with high-dollar items but left with nothing when store security spotted him.
A few minutes later, the man returned, snatched two money bags out of an employee’s hands and ran out of the front door, police said.
He left in a gold or silver mid-90s model Honda Accord with a canceled license plate, CT 649YlX.
The man is approximately 30 years old and was wearing dark colored jeans, a plaid flannel shirt and bright white sneakers, according to a news release from police.
Police said another man was in the car and was described as heavyset, in his mid-20s, with blond hair and glasses.
No one was harmed during the robbery.
