Milford police have arrested a 28-year-old Bridgeport man who is accused of inappropriately touching a juvenile at the YMCA.
Police responded to the YMCA at 691 Orange Avenue in Milford around 1 p.m. on Friday after YMCA administrators called authorities to investigate a suspicious incident.
Kenan Lipscomb, 28, of Bridgeport, is accused of inappropriately touching a juvenile in the building, according to Milford police.
He was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury.
It's not clear what Lipscomb was doing at the YMCA, but a spokesperson for the Y said he's not affiliated with the organization.
"Kenan Lipscomb is ont a Y staff member, nor is he a Y volunteer," said YMCA spokeswoman Donna Gill Lisitano, in a statement Monday.
He was released on a promise to appear and is due in court on Aug. 19.
Police are investigating the incident.
