A man's body was found along railroad tracks in Bristol on Sunday morning. At first, police said the death was being considered suspicious, but said on Monday that this appears to be a case of suicide.
Someone who was walking in a wooded area between Center and Blakeslee streets discovered the unresponsive man at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday and called 911, police said.
Responding officers determined that the man was dead.
He has been tentatively identified as a 32-year-old homeless man from Bristol, but his name is not being released until his family has been notified.
The died of self-inflicted wounds, according to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office.
