A silver alert was issued for Mason Hubley on Monday. He was last seen with his mother, Rachel, and her boyfriend, John Tohlus.

Police say a 2-year-old boy who was the subject of a Silver Alert has been found.

Portland police issued the Silver Alert for Mason Hubley Monday.

He was last seen with his mother Rachel Hubley, of Wallingford, on Monday. The mother and son were visiting John Tolhus in Portland. Tolhus is the boyfriend of Rachel Hubley, according to police.

Family members contacted police after Rachel and John made "concerning comments," according to authorities.

Police were able to call the couple, and similar "concerning comments" were made to officers, police said.  Rachel and John refused to meet with police to prove that Mason was alright, according to investigators.

Police said Mason has been located safely, but did not give any other details.
