Massachusetts Man Charged With Burglary at Quinnipiac Student’s Home

Hamden police arrested a 21-year-old Massachusetts man early this morning after a Quinnipiac University student reported that a man she did not know was in her residence.

Hamden police arrested a 21-year-old Massachusetts man early this morning after a Quinnipiac University student reported that a man she did not know was in her residence.

Hamden Police responded to a Whitney Avenue residence at 12:20 a.m. after a female student called Quinnipiac University Public Safety.

Police identified the man as Christopher Davis, 21, of Southborough. They said he tried to get into the female student’s bedroom and was sitting on the floor when police arrived.

He was arrested and transported to Hamden Police headquarters.

Davis was charged with second-degree burglary. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond.

He is due in court in Meriden on May 9.
