“Idol's” Nick Fradiani, Gloria Estefan, Gary Sinise Due at Memorial Day Concert

Gloria Estefan, Katherine Jenkins and other artists are set to perform at this year's National Memorial Day Concert outside the U.S. Capitol.

"American Idol's" newly crowned winner, Guilford, Connecticut, native Nick Fradiani, will sing the national anthem to open the 26th annual live concert event which begins at 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Actors Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna will host the show to honor the nation's veterans and service members on the West Lawn of the Capitol.

Sinise and Mantegna will host the concert for the 10th consecutive year. Both have long been dedicated to veterans and issues facing service members.

The U.S. Army Herald Trumpets, the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters, and the U.S. Air Force Singing Sergeants are among the military bands performing.

The lineup also includes Colin Powell, actress Stefanie Scott and Tessanne Chin, who won NBC's "The Voice" in 2013. Tenor Russell Watson will perform in concert with the National Symphony Orchestra.

If you can't make it in person, catch it live on PBS stations from 8 to 9:30 p.m.
