Men Attack Woman in Hamden, Steal Cash and Pills

Two men attacked a 29-year-old woman in Hamden on Tuesday, ransacked her car and stole money and pills, according to police.

Police said the woman got out of her car on Chestnut Lane to check a tire and two men in their 20s, dressed in dark clothing, got out of a black sedan and approached her.

One of the men punched her in the face, kicked her legs and scratched her, police said. Then, the two men ransacked her vehicle and stole around $1,000 and 100 pills of Oxycodone and Valium, according to a news release from police.
