Men Sold Heroin, Steroids Out of Groton Hotel Room: Cops

Police have arrested two men accused of selling heroine, methadone, testosterone and marijuana out of their hotel room in Groton.

According to police, Joseph Dart, 23, and Jeffrey Vallace, 35, sold the drugs from their room at the Ramada Inn on Kings Highway in Groton.

Investigators found 93 grams of heroin packaged for sale, methadone pills, vials of testosterone, baked goods containing marijuana and $4,500 cash when they searched the room, according to police.

Both men are currently living at the hotel.

They were charged with possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy.

Dart and Vallace were each held on $100,000 bond and are due in court May 5.
