Police are looking for the people who were in this car when a double homicide happened. They might have witnessed the shooting.
Meriden detectives want to speak with anyone who was in a car near the scene of a fatal double shooting on Aug. 14.
Just after 10 p.m. that night, police found Anthony Anderson, 25, and Melvin Silva-Pizarro, 30, both of Meriden, lying on the ground at the intersection of Crown and Olive streets, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were rushed to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and police said very little evidence was found at the scene.
Detectives do not believe the occupant or occupants of the vehicle are suspects in the crime, police said. They are looking for the people because they appear to be witnesses.
Meriden police detectives are asking that the driver and/or passengers of the vehicle contact them at 203-630-6219.
The case remains under investigation.
