Fire ravages a Middlefield barn.
For the second time in two years, a fire has destroyed a Middlefield barn.
Firefighters were called to the barn on Jackson Hill Road around 7:00 p.m. Monday. Flames were seen shooting from the structure when crews arrived. Over a hundred cows and sheep escaped the fire unharmed. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.
The cause is under investigation.
150 cows escaped when the barn burned down the first time in August 2007. It was rebuilt later that year.
