Middletown police arrested a man suspected in a rash of burglaries in several towns.

Officers arrested Dane Tilley, 30, of Middletown, on Monday. They identified Tilley as a suspect in several residential burglaries in and around the Middletown area. Most of the burglaries took place during the day when residents were not at home, police said.

The Middletown Police Department Investigative Services Division worked with officers from surrounding towns and State Police to identify Tilley as the suspect. Tilley is charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of larceny and criminal mischief.

Middletown police have obtained six additional arrest warrants for Tilley and expect to serve him with those warrants soon. He is scheduled to be in court Feb. 14.
