An 11-year-old boy who left his New Haven home on Friday night has been found in Bronx, New York.

Police said William "CJ" Pagan somehow boarded a train in New Haven and rode it into the city.

He was located Sunday morning and New Haven police detectives were en route to the Bronx this afternoon to pick him up.

"He is safe and sound," said Office David Hartman of New Haven Police.

Police said Pagan climbed out of his window Friday night but it is not clear why the boy left his home.
