Police arrested a 48-year-old mom and her 29- and 21-year-old daughters after a woman told police they attacked her.
Police were called to Whalley Avenue at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday to investigate an assault and the victim told police that Katara Hoover, 29, Ebony Green, 21, and their mother, Rhonda Green, attacked her.
The victim reported being punched in the back of her head, then suffering a series of blows, punches and kicks.
The victim’s eye was swollen shut and she had other injuries, according to police.
She told police there has been tension between the families for about a year and the attack was most likely the result of a recent dispute.
Two of the women work at Yale, police said, and university police helped them find the suspects.
Rhonda Green was arrested at 371 Lombard St, a short time later, police said.
She would not tell police where her daughters were or comment on the allegations, police said.
Police took her into custody and found her daughters when they went to police headquarters to ask about their mother's arrest.
Both women were taken into custody.
All three were charged with assault in the second degree, breach of peace and conspiracy to commit each.
