Moo-ve Over

The morning commute was a little odd for some drivers in Vernon who saw not a car, but a cow, parked on the side of the road on Wednesday morning.

State Department of Transportation cameras spotted a cow leashed to a guardrail just before 9:30 a.m., according to a Tweet from @NERoadways.

The driver had to pull over to the side of the road when the bovinely passenger damaged the wall to its trailer, tied the cow to the guardrail for about 40 minutes and made repairs.

Soon after, DOT cameras showed the cow loaded back into a truck. The cow and driver were back on their jouney by 9:40 a.m.
