South Windsor police have filed an additional 24 charges against a 20-year-old former South Windsor man who was accused last year of using a hidden camera to record people as they used his bathroom.

In April 2011, a woman called police after finding a camera hidden in the bathroom of the Brook Street house. Police said Paul Zajac had told a female resident of the house that he’d placed the camera in the bathroom to capture video of people.

Police investigated and said Zajac had used a hidden camera to record people using a bathroom in his house as well as changing clothing in a bedroom.

Investigators reviewed Zajac’s computer and said they found 24 images of people using the bathroom or bedroom and obtained a warrant.

Zajac, who now lives in Manchester, turned himself in on Wednesday night and has been charged with 24 counts of voyeuristic recording of another person.

He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 26.
