Glastonbury police have filed charges against a former math teacher from East Hartford High School who was is accused of inappropriate sexual contact with an 18-year-old female student.
East Hartford police arrested Jessica Motulski, 28, last month and said the alleged incident happened at Motulski's Glastonbury home.
On Wednesday, Glastonbury police charged her with six counts of sexual assault in the fourth degree. They said the arrest came after police received a complaint in May.
When the allegations came to light, Motulski was placed on paid administrative, according to East Hartford Superintendent Mark Zito. She resigned, effective June, 5 amid the investigation.
East Hartford police arrested Motulski on July 26 and charged her with two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault. She was released her on a $5,000 non-surety bond and she is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Aug. 15.
Bond on the Glastonbury charges is also set at $5,000.
