Police filed new voyeurism charges against a former Glastonbury man Monday.
Alounkune Vongsarasinh, 39, is accused of placing a video camera in a bathroom and secretly recording his roommate and her 15-year-old daughter as they undressed.
Vongsarasinh was originally arrested April 3, after the teen found the camera in a bathroom at the home she shared with the suspect in Glastonbury. During the police investigation after that arrest, investigators seized more digital recording devices owned by Vongsarasinh. Detectives found six additional video recordings of the teen and her mother in the bathroom.
After his arrest in April, Vongsarasinh, who also goes by the name Al Kone Vongsarasinh, admitted to police he set up the camera to record the 15-year-old girl as she undressed, according to court documents. He told police he loaded the images onto his computer for his "personal viewing pleasure" and did not share them with anyone, according to the documents.
Vongsarasinh was charged with six counts of voyeurism Monday. He was released on a $30,000 bond and is scheduled to be in court Sept. 5.
