I-95 South Reopened After Fatal Motorcycle Accident

Southbound I-95 was closed for hours after a serious motorcycle crash.

I-95 South Reopened After Fatal Motorcycle Accident

I-95 Southbound in Norwalk was closed for 4 hours after a motorcycle accident Saturday morning.

Ines Franco, 29, was operating a Suzuki motorcycle just north of Exit 16 was a Ford Taurus struck her. Franco, of Phillipsburg, NJ was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. according to the Department of Transportation.

All lanes reopened just after 8:00 a.m.

State police are investigating the accident.
