Motorcyclist in Critical Condition After Granby Crash

A 47-year-old motorcyclist from Massachusetts is in critical condition after a crash last night in Granby.

Granby police said a 2005 Harley Davidson and a 2012 Toyota vehicle crashed on Granville Road at Northwoods Drive just before 6 p.m.

LifeStar medical transport helicopter took the motorcyclist, Clint Eaton, 47, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, to Hartford Hospital to be treated for life0threatening injuries, officials said.

Eaton, who was wearing a helmet, is listed in critical condition, according to police.

Police identified the Toyota driver as Julianna Best, 21, of Granby. She was alone in the vehicle and was not hurt.

No charges have been filed.

The North Central Accident Reconstruction Team is assisting with the investigation and anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Granby Police at 860-844-5335.
