A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a collision with a car on Washington Street near Route 2 in Norwich Friday night.
The road is closed, but is expected to reopen to traffic in an hour.
The motorcyclist's injuries don't appear to be life-threatening, police said. The call about the crash came in at 5:24 p.m.
The motorcyclist was transported to Backus Hospital and the patient's condition is unknown. Police have not released the individual's identity or the name of the driver of the car.
An accident reconstruction team is on scene.
