Mover Stole $60,000 Ring During Move: Police

A moving company employee accused of stealing a $60,000 ring from a Glastonbury home during a move has been arrested.

Police arrested Benjamin Ingram, 29, of East Hartford, in a parking lot in Manchester at 10 a.m. on May 21 and held him until he was arraigned on May 22.

Ingram had worked for an area moving company hired to make the move. 

He was charged with first-degree larceny and remains in custody. It is not clear whether he has an attorney.

Bond was set at $100,000.
