A 34-year-old man from Naugatuck is facing charges after police reportedly found more than 300,000 child pornography files on his computer.
Michael Maldonado, of Galpin Street in Naugatuck, was arrested March 5 following a tip from the state Department of Homeland Security Cyber Crimes Center last month, according to Naugatuck police.
Police said Maldonado allegedly uploaded a child pornography photo to an image-posting website. He's also accused of downloading and trading child pornography files.
Maldonado’s bond was set at $50,000. He was due in court today.
