A 25-year-old New Britain woman has been charged with stabbing her husband in the back during what police said was an argument over text messages she found on his phone.
Megan Greer is free on bond after being arraigned on Tuesday on charges including first-degree assault.
Police say she stabbed 27-year-old Jordan Matheson in the back after a fight in which they both tossed the other's cell phone in the toilet, the New Britain Herald reports.
Matheson was hospitalized with a wound that police say is not considered life-threatening.
Greer does not have a listed phone number and attempts the Associated Press made to reach her for comment on Thursday were not successful.
She was charged with first-degree assault and possession of a dangerous weapon.
Matheson was charged with disorderly conduct.
