New Haven Restaurant Week Kicks off Sunday

New Haven Restaurant Week starts on sunday evening, much to the delight of Connecticut food lovers. Eighteen New Haven restaurants participated, catering to a variety of tastes for one great price. Lunch in a participating restaurant will cost you $16.38 which is by no coincidence the year New Haven was founded. A three course dinner will run a flat $29 per person. Don't let the price fool you, the selection is top notch and the program is designed to encourage economy-weary consumers to get out and experience what the city has to offer. If you were unable to make it to Sunday's kick-off, don't worry. The event runs through Friday, November 14th. Connecticut will feature a state-wide Restaurant Week beginning on Sunday, November 16th featuring 73 of the Nutmeg State's finest restaurants.
