Newtown police are investigating several residential burglaries in the Sandy Hook area.
Police said they received five reports of home burglaries over Thursday and Friday. One of the homes hit had surveillance cameras which captured video of a suspect.
The suspect is described as a bald male. He was wearing a white baseball cap with blue on the edge of the brim, a white, blue and gray striped shirt, and khaki shorts.
Police said the suspect may be driving a black pickup truck and frequent the Waterbury area.
