Part of Quinnipiac Avenue in North Haven was closed early Thursday morning after a car rolled over and hit a fire hydrant, causing the road to flood.
The car ended up nearly underwater at the crash scene.
Quinnipiac Avenue was closed between Middletown Avenue and Nettleton Avenue, according to North Haven police. It has reopened.
There were no injuries in the crash, police said.
