Cristina Ortiz, 15, of Hartford has been missing since May 23 and city officials are asking for help from the public to find her.
She left for school on May 23 but never arrived and has not returned home, police said.
Detectives in the juvenile investigative division have been searching for the missing teen since.
On Wednesday afternoon, Mayor Pedro Segarra, Interim Police Chief James C. Rovella and Cristina’s family will hold a news conference to make a public plea for Cristina's return.
Cristina is 5-feet-1, 105 pounds and wears glasses.
