The song you think of when you head to Foxwoods is going to change.

“Let’s live for the wonder of it all ...  ”

If even reading those words from the Foxwoods jingle sends a shiver up your spine, we have good news and bad.

The bad is that the song's coming back. The good is that they're re-recording it with someone else's voice.

After 10 years, the chips have fallen on John Pizzarelli’s 10-year-old version of “Wonder of it All.”

Foxwoods wants to replace the 49-year-old jazz singer’s voice with a new, fresh voice. One they hope you’ll want to share with your friends on Facebook or Twitter.

From now until February, there's the Be theWonder Behind the Hit campaign, where people can record themselves and upload their MP3 files.

Then, comes the fun for the rest of us. We can just sit back, enjoy the good, make fun of the bad, click a thumbs up or down and ultimately pick who we want to sing the iconic song.

The artists can be from anywhere. But, most people who go to the casino are from New England, so the contest folks are focusing on Hartford, Boston, Providence, Worcester and Portland, Maine.

This contest is the next step in the casino’s efforts to bring in new customers.

Over the summer, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun joined efforts in an edgy campaign to draw people from New York and New Jersey to gamble in Connecticut rather than Atlantic City.

Billboards on major roads from New York to New Jersey, saying "Way Beyond the Boredwalk"; "Escape the Jersey Snore" and "Two Worlds Beat One City" got AC’s attention and they launched their own counter campaign.

There are only two contest submissions so far.

There’s Mystic-based Barefoot Truth’s “Soul Club Manifesto,” a mellow acoustic interpretation that preserves the lyrics. We think it’s pretty good.

Then there is “Los Wunder Twins del Rap.” Yes, rap that takes some liberties on those lyrics. Big liberties, as in “Pop the cork, ya’ll” liberties.

As Los Wunder Twins say, “Take a chance, y’all. … It’s all good.”

Ah, the wonder of it all.
