Deadly Shooting in New Haven

Detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man dead inside the Brendan Towers Apartments in New Haven.
Officers responded to 4691 Whalley Ave just before 8:00 p.m., Sunday and found a man in his twenties shot inside the building, authorities said.
Police are investigating another shooting Sunday night. A man showed up at Yale-New Haven Hospital with a bullet wound to the leg and is in stable condition.
The police department's Major Crimes Division and Bureau of Investigation are investigating both incidents to find out if the two shootings are linked.
