Oops! Those Aren't My Drugs

A pharmacist is supposed to know which of these to give you, but a Bridgeport professional said her workload was so high she messed up.

A Bridgeport pharmacist gave Viagra to someone who never asked for the little blue pill, and she handed another person 50 times the steroid she was supposed to, Connecticut officials.

Holland Nguyen, 46, claims the mistakes – more than 24 between 2005 and 2008 -- were because she was working far too hard.

She gave up her license in December, but now she wants it back and the state Consumer Protection Department will hold a hearing on Wednesday.

The agency received three consumer complaints against Nguyen, who worked at a CVS on Boston Avenue in Bridgeport. The department has filed disciplinary charges against Nguyen.
