More than 130 marijuana plants weighing 52 pounds were seized for from four separate locations in Walingford.
Wallingford Police Detectives, along with Detectives from the Connecticut State Police Narcotics Task Force, seized the plants as a result of a marijuana eradication flight across the town.
Detectives seized 82 marijuana plants weighing approximately 14 lbs. at 891 North Farms Road.
David Belascon, 56, of the same address, is facing a slew of charges including possession of marijuana with intent to sell, risk of injury to a minor and possession of marijuana within 1500 feet of a school or daycare.
Marijuana cultivation sites were also found in a wooded area by the intersection of Sterling Drive and Enterprise Drive (31 marijuana plants, 6 lbs.), in a wooded area off of Barns Road (30 marijuana plants, 22 lbs.), and in a wooded area off of Interstate 691 in Meriden, CT (22 marijuana plants, 10 lbs.).
