Part of House Collapsed During Irene Floats into Creek

The bathroom of a house that collapsed on Sunday morning during Irene turned up in a creek in Fairfield on Wednesday morning.

Part of 2154 Fairfield Beach Road was scene floating westward near the end of Fairfield Beach Road at 8:41 a.m. during high tide. The house was not occupied, officials said.
