Partial Landing Gear Collapse at Bradley

Passengers were evacuated from a Pittsburgh-bound flight from Bradley Airport on Tuesday because of a mechanical problem.

Part of the front landing gear of a U.S. Air plane collapsed as it was backing up for departure on Tuesday morning.

Twenty-nine passengers were on the plane, operated by Tran States, according to U.S. Air. No one was hurt. The passengers are being boarded onto other flights.
