A 33-year-old Danielson man who was hit by a train Thursday night has died, according to state police.
State police said troopers, firefighters and EMS crews found 33-year-old Dustin Orr in critical condition near train tracks when they responded to Franklin Street in Danielson at 8:10 p.m. Thursday.
An ambulance transported Orr to William H. Backus in Plainfield and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
