One person was killed after being struck by a vehicle on I-91 in Cromwell early Saturday morning.
According to state police, one car struck the pedestrian in the area of Exit 20 and 21 on the northbound side of the interstate around 3:10 a.m.
State police had the highway shut down for hours in the area to investigate. One lane reopened just before 7 a.m.
The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time.
