Police are investigating a fatal accident on Hamilton Ave.

Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Waterbury

A 29 year-old man was killed Wednesday evening after being struck by a car in Waterbury.

The pedestrian was crossing the intersection of Hamilton Ave. and Pearl Lake Road when he was struck by a Saturn Ion, according to police.

The victim was taken to St. Mary's hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Waterbury Police are not releasing the name of the victim until they have notified next of kin. The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.
