A pedestrian was struck while police were investigating vandalism in Norwalk on Friday morning.
Little information was immediately available, but police said the preliminarily information is that officers were on their way to investigate a vandalism complaint and had located the suspect on Burnell Boulevard when the accident occurred.
The pedestrian was brought to Norwalk Hospital to be evaluated.
