Pedestrian Struck in Middletown

One person was taken to the hospital after a crash involving a pedestrian and a police cruiser on Friday morning, according to police.

The person was struck at Washington, Route 66, and Newfield streets, Route 3, around 5 a.m., according to police.

The pedestrian's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

The Middletown Police Traffic Division is investigating.
