Linda McMahon Takes the "Soda" Lead

Soda drinkers prefer McMahon concoction sold at Avery's Beverages in New Britain.

Customers at Avery's Beverages in New Britain seem to prefer Linda McMahon, or at least her soda.

Avery's is selling sodas associated with McMahon and Richard Blumenthal Blumenthal, who are running against each other for U.S. Senate in Connecticut.

The Hartford Courant reports that "Linda's SmackDown Soda" is outselling "Dick's Blue Menthol" 265 to 15. McMahon sampled her soda during a visit to Avery's on Saturday. The owner of Avery's tells The Courant that Blumenthal plans to pay a visit as well.

Each bottle costs $1 and proceeds are donated to the Prudence Crandall Center in New Britain.
